The analysis of the representation (Marin “presenting herself representing something and representing something for certain purposes”) of
female characters, accomplices and rivals, in The Twin Souls, The Dead and the Living, Two Sisters by Patrocinio de Biedma and Three Friends, The Stork and the Ant, The Daughters of Elena by Julia de Asensi, will undertake its interrelationship with the context of production, personal history, the
involuntary emergence of the unconscious personality of the flesh-and-blood author, reinstating the subject of the enunciation in his or her cultural contexts through the affective, aesthetic, ideological marks left on the discourse.
