Synthesis of human exposure pathways to poly- and perfluoroalkylated substances (PFAS) and current understanding of health effects
Résumé
This summary* reviews the research literature on the sources and pathways of population exposure to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The analysis of the epidemiological studies of this large family of substances shows a widely varying types of suspected toxicity (carcinogenicity, immunotoxicity, metabolism, etc.).
