A New Model for Six-Phase Induction Generator

Résumé

Nowadays, the modeling of the squirrel cage multi-phase induction generator has gained an impressive attention, especially for squirrel cage six-phase induction generator (SC6PIG). In this way, this paper proposes a faster and simple model of the SC6PIG using circuit-oriented method by the basic mathematical formulation of its generator. The proposed model associated to the current control is simulated with Simulink/MATLAB and analyzed in healthy and faulty conditions then it is compared with the dq model and the internal circuit-oriented model. In addition, the experimental results on the test bed are provided.
