Robot-Assisted Brain Biopsy
Résumé
Stereotactic biopsy is a routine neurosurgical procedure. Although a robot was first used to perform a stereotactic biopsy in 1985, little on robot-assisted stereotactic biopsy has been published since then. However, robot-assisted stereotactic biopsy appears to be a safe and effective way of establishing a histological diagnosis that combines the advantages of frame-based and frameless techniques. The superiority of robot-assisted stereotactic biopsy over standard surgical techniques is yet to be established. \textcopyright 2021, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
