Desire as the basis for inaction and submission. reflections around self-reappropriation with Nietzsche and Foucault
Le désir comme fondement de l'inaction et de la soumission. Réflexions autour d'une réappropriation de soi avec Nietzsche et Foucault
Résumé
We perceive desires as a set of living forces that constantly animate and energize human existence. However, what exactly happens when desire suddenly becomes like the foundation of man's inaction and enslavement? This is the starting point of the critical analysis proposed by Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) and Michel Foucault (1926-1984) concerning the nature and function of desires within our liberal and moralizing societies. Thus, faced with this situation, the intention of this article is essentially to propose techniques of reappropriation (or reinvention) of oneself through the will to power and the care of the self (epimeleïa heautou).
