Résumé

Photovoltaic (PV) generators generally exhibit high power production losses due to their non-linear and highly variable characteristics and also to unstable weather conditions. The aim of maximum power point tracking techniques is to optimise the energy transfer and ensure maximum power production from PV generators with respect to their different characteristics. Besides, and in order to ensure high system reliability, a switched model-based fault detection strategy is developed, which is able to supervise online the health state of the different MPPT control unit components. The detection unit parameters are calculated off-line using the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) concept, the Lyapunov approach and the H∞ technique.
